Profile Picture

My name is Georgia, pronouns she/hers, I am occupational therapist working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Occupational Therapy at The University of Huddersfield. My passions aside from activism and occupational therapy are reading, theatre, and music, including gigs and festivals!

I am currently in the first year of my PhD exploring disability disclosure on placement. Outside of my academic role I am a founding member of AbleOTUK an advocacy and network group for occupational therapists and students with lived experience of disability. In 2024 my debut book was published 'Occupational Therapy Disability Activism and Me' which challenges ableism in healthcare.
