A few weeks, ago I wrote about the simple changes that can be made within healthcare to reduce everyday ableism I also linked this to previous blogs about systemic ableism. Therefore, this blog isn’t going to be anything new, it’s just going to hopefully link everything together.  As said before, sometimes noticing ableism isn’t easy,…

Being a disabled child is very hard, the world of disability doesn’t come with any instructions it’s just left for you and your family to navigate its ableist structures. Do You Notice Ableism Around You?

Often when we talk about ableism we talk about it being systemic, integrated within the systems we work in on micro, meso and macro levels. This photo says 'Georgia Vine Upcoming Disability Blogger of the Year' this is against at glittery background. It has CP Teens logo in the corner with CP been in a green speech box and Teens being in a pink speech box. Charity details are also in small text at the bottom. To the left there's a photo inside the same blurred image in a brown top with a note book and social media tip book around me.
